618 Powerlifting Novice 3 lift

Welcome to the official event for the 618 Powerlifting Novice Competition!

This event will be held at 618 Barbell, on Sunday 2nd April.

Lifting will begin at 10am, with a short lifters brief at 9.15am.

There are a limited number of places available so please get in quickly to avoid disappointment.

We will send updates and information regarding this event via email, so please provide a valid email address when entering.

There are two changes from this rulebook we apply to our novice competitions:

- Squats CANNOT be walked out.

- Bench press has a START command in addition to the PRESS and RACK commands.

Because this is a novice competition, soft suits are not required. You must wear a sleeved t-shirt for squats and bench press, shin coverage for deadlifts and enclosed footwear for all three.

Weigh-ins (at 618 Barbell) will be open on Saturday 1st April 10am-2pm. If you cannot attend this weigh-in, please contact the meet directors at 618powerlifting@gmail.com at least one week before the event.

REFUND POLICY

There are no refunds for competition entry fees if you withdraw from this event.

You cannot transfer your competition entry to a later event.

You can transfer your competition entry to another lifter for this event only.
